Kenneth's Story
As of 7/10, I'm happily married with two grown children. Daughter graduated w/psyc undergrad from a college in New England, now working for a non-profit in Austin. Son just graduated from Univ of Colorado Boulder majoring in econ, minoring in French. Working out of Denver as a consultant for Deloitte.
After High School, moved to New England w/family. Lived on the NH seacoast for 20+ years raising family.
After college worked in the accounting dept. of a utility holding company in New Hampshire. Left after 10+ years, last position was Manager of Budget & Regulatory Accounting overseeing centralized accounting group and developing accounting for deregulation of the company's Massachusetts elec and gas utilities. a Controller role at a small NH college, then took a position as VP Finance for a Le Cordon Bleu college in Austin TX. After two years, asked to take position of college president at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Las Vegas.
Kristine took some time off before looking for work in Vegas, spending time as a volunteer for American Cancer Society in one of Vegas' more needy hospitals, where she saw firsthand the problems with our healthcare system. Recently went back to work but still spends time volunteering for ACS.
Empty nesters now, except for 2 chocolate labs. We're enjoying Vegas but Austin will always feel like home...will get back there to stay someday.
