Kenneth's Story

Life My Spouse Met her in a physics class I was a TA for at Stanford now she is also a prof at Westmont (in computer science) Update: Kim passed away in 2013 from ovarian cancer. I did remarry in 2017 to Cathy and am very happy. My Pets They are really my kids' cats (Aslan and Boots). Update: We lost both cats in the Santa Barbara Tea Fire in 2008 which took our home. We rebuilt in the same place. We (my new wife, Cathy and I) have a really sweet standard poodle named Shadow. My Kids Kathy graduated from Wheaton (IL) in philosophy and is at Princeton for their M.Div program. 2021 update: She got her PhD in New Testament from Princeton Seminary and is looking for faculty positions. ust completed a post doc. She recently married David Briggs and is living in NYC Kevin is a sophomore at Westmont. He is doing sports announcing and has a passion for Buffalo sports teams (where I grew up). 2021 update: Kevin went into accounting as a career and in married to Katie. They live in Buellton and work in Santa Barbara My Job I love being a professor at Westmont College. I also do physics research in superconductivity. Fall of 2007 Kim and I are co-leading Westmont's Europe semester (Kevin is coming). Update: I am retiring this May after 37 years at Westmont (and have led three Europe Semester programs) I graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1972 but moved to Valpo from the Buffalo area before my sophomore year (so I also list myself in the Frontier High School 1972 class just because I knew a number of people from junior high (Amsdell) and grade school (Blasdell)).
