Kenneth's Story
Life
I have posted a recent picture of me and my wife, Margaret (married SL Temple 6/69), and our most recent grandson, Connor -- as well as one taken in the spring of 1964. I have 5 children, the oldest boy was adopted, but he past away October 2003 due to a brain tumor. I have 3 married sons, one teaching school in Victorville, CA, one living in Saratoga Springs, UT, doing computer programming, and one who is in Pullman, WA, to become a veternarian. Our only daughter finished her AA degree at Utah State in Computer Aided Drafting and is going to Weber State to complete a 4 year degree in that field. As of 9/05 we have 8 grand children (4 girls and 4 boys) from 12 years to less than a year. One of the boys passed away and one was born 8/30/05. the University of Utah doing student outreach in the office of one of the associate vice presidents. After stints as a soldier in Viet Nam (1970-71) I worked as an archaeologist (got my Ph.D. at Washington State University in 1981) in Egypt (1981), Colorado (1981-1986), and Washington (1986-1995). I have been teaching archaeology classes as an adjunct professor since 1990 (and teach at the BYU - Salt Lake Center). We were gone from Utah for nearly 30 years (1970-1999) but decided to return to be closer to family. We presently live in Tooele and I commute to Salt Lake riding one of the express UTA buses.
