Life
US Army 74-78 (Fort Riley, Kansas and Nurnberg, Germany; 82-85 (Fort Riley, Kansas). AA 79 - Cloud County Community College, Concordia, Kansas; BA 87 - Amherst College, Amherst, Massachusetts; JD 91 - Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Worked as an attorney for Cullen & Dykman, Brooklyn, New York (1992-1993) and Sumner (Kansas) County Attorney's Office, Wellington, Kansas (1994-1997) Mobilized for Joint Guard in Croatia 1997-98. Attorney in Concordia, Kansas since 1998. Worked as a part-time County Attorney (prosecutor) in McPherson County, Kansas in 2001. amp Speicher in Tikrit, Iraq, Saddam Hussein's hometown, in 2003-2004. Back home again in Concordia, Kansas in March 2004. Joined Kellogg Brown & Root in May 2005 and have worked for them in Kuwait until 2009, when I was sent back to Tikrit. When we left Iraq in 2011, I went back to the USA. I retired from the Social Security Topeka Hearing Office in 2020. I now live with my wife Jelena in Riga, Latvia. It's been a long trip since THS!
I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a splendid idea. As it turns out, they were right.
