Kenneth Shelton:  

Life After graduating from Jeff Hi I joined the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and served in Ashya, Japan in communications intelligence as an intercept radio operator (In 2011 we visited South Korea as guests of their government). Then graduated from U of L with a business degree In 1960. In 2011 I attended U of L's Golden Jubilee Reunion. Again had cap and gown and walked with the new grads. Worked in management for many years with the Social Security Administration until I retired in Kings Mountain, NC in 1989. Moved to Dallas, NC in 2008. First married Dolores Schlageter (sister of Buddy)but she died of cancer in 1993. We had three children. Remarried to Vickey Martin Elliott in 1995. She was a Media Specialist at a local high School, now retired We like to travel and usually take four or five major trips a year, of which one is usually to Europe or Asia. Went on a three week tour of China and Hong Kong in 2005. It was wonderful and we had a great learning experience. In 2006 we toured Northern Mexico and the Copper Canyon.
