Kenneth's Story
Graduated Mississippi State University January 1971 with Accounting degree. Next 9 years with a U. S. Government Agency, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) with assignments in Birmingham, AL and Charlotte, NC. Left NCUA in 1980 to become President/General Manager of Sharonview Federal Credit Union(SFCU), Charlotte, NC. Left SFCU in 1992 to become President & Chief Executive Officer of Tinker Federal Credit Union, Oklahoma City, OK and stayed there 4 years. Moved on to the President & Chief Executive Officer role at the Credit Union of Texas (Dallas, TX) in 1996 and retired from there in August 2006. rld. After 7 years of retirement, I went back to work for H&R Block and am now a Master Tax Advisor and Enrolled Agent.
We have two children, Michelle and Chris. Michelle is married to Jason Novak and they have three children, Drew, Avery and Gray. They live in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan where Jason is the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Central Michigan University. This is Jason's first year with CMU following 11 years coaching for the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, TN
Chris and his wife, Jennifer, live in Edmond, Oklahoma and have three children, Emerson, Easton, and Everly. Chris is the Manager in charge of Season Ticket Retention for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sorry, no free tickets!
