Kenneth's Story
Life
After high school, I attended Cook/Chef program at Mitchell Technical Institute. I then transfered to USD/Springfield and received an AAS degree in Food Industries Management and BS in Education for Vocational Education. I have work in foodservice almost entirely since high school; steakhouse/lounge work for 7 years, college foodservice as assistant director for 3 years, prison foodservice director for 9 years and currently dietary director for a private home for 12 years. I recently completed (Aug. '05) a Master's degree at Mount Marty College where I have continued to take courses over the last 12 years....Expand for more
I am married with two grown children and a granddaughter. My wife also works in foodservice (different location than myself). We celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2003. Our son (Bryan)is currently in his sixth year working road construction for a company out of Flandreau. Our daughter (Emily) married in 2002. She and her husband both received their Bachelor's degrees at Mount Marty College, graduating in 2002. Emily works at Sioux Valley Hospital as a med tech in the lab. Her husband (Fred) works in computer support and sales at Midcontinnent Communications. Their daughter (Elizabeth) was born in 2003.
