r having been engaged to marry a Japanese and later a Taiwanese, I eventually did marry an ethnic Korean from China. We brought our first two daughters back to Alberta and soon afterwards relocated to the Vancouver suburb of Richmond, BC. There, where our third daughter was born, I worked as the legal, technical, medical, and pharmaceutical translator and managing editor until finally switching gears to become an English literature and academic writing instructor for the wealthy Chinese immigrant families that populate the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. As of 2022, I now find myself single again and without a demanding work schedule.
