Kenneth's Story
Life
Living in sunny Jacksonville FL with my wife, Saralouise Yakim(WVU'68) Weiss.
Our daughter, Whitney, is now in her 2nd "gap year" and is traveling in Argentina with her back pack and guitar.
I started out at University of Miami in 1964, WVU was nice enough to let me finally finish my college education in 1977 after several detours...including some time spent in service to our country with the US Army. The Army gave me an Honarable Discharge, but asked me never to serve again. I wasn't a very good soldier.
Got married to Saralouise in 1971 (best thing I ever did!) Moved to FL in 1987 and bought a couple of Furniture stores. Unemployed as of ...Expand for more
August '08 and hope to get back to MoTown in the next year or so. If I get the job as a greeter at WalMart, be sure to stop and say, "Hi."
I'm looking forward to spending full time on my hobbies: watching Fargo and The Big Lebowski, listening to stories about alien abduction and probing on the radio show Coast to Coast AM each night, looking up at the sky and watching clouds turn into funny looking dogs, and, my favorite,,,spending time with and enjoying Saralouise's company.
I've really enjoyed hearing from so many old friends on Classmates. Thanks. Keep it up. It's fun knowing that you are still out there!
