Kenneth's Story
Life
My Family;
I have a daughter, who is employed with a major medical facility in Alabama, and a son in the plumbing business locally. I have one gorgeous, blue-eyed grandaughter, 15 yr. old (going on 18), and has always been my travel partner; a grandson (My Lil' Buddy) six yr. old; and on July 3, 2006, I became the proud Papa to twins, a boy and girl, now four year old. It is a slow go because they live in a different part of the state, but I am viciously working trying to spoil the twins as I have the other two (and love every minute of it). These four kids are my life! I still love to go back in time every chance I get to McMinnville, and spend time with my remaining family there. "Going home" isn't the same now, however, after losing both my parents (Mom in Sept. of 2000 and my Dad in Jan. of 2008), as well as a sister (Feb. 2005). The hometown hasn't really changed that much since high school, just different people. But it always means a lot to once...Expand for more
again meet up with old friends and rehash fond memories of growing up there.
My Job;
I am employed as a Mill Technician for ConAgra Mills, a Grain Processing Company and a division of ConAgra Foods, producing both sacked and bulk bakery flour, as well as other milled grain products. I have been employed with this company since 1973. In April of 2001, I, along with seven co-workers, completed two weeks of technical training for milling and grain processing in Uzwil, Switzerland, and while there, had time to tour a good part of the country, including parts of the Alps, which almost certainly has been one of the highlights of my personal life. The 'NOW' photo was taken over-looking Bern, Switzerland. After giving (working) the majority of my life to this company, I am looking forward to retirement in the not too distant future. At that time, other than spending more time with my grandkids, I plan to do a lot of camping, and hopefully, much more traveling.
