Ken's Story
What a year 2008 has been. I'm sure for all of you reading this, each one of you will have a story to tell.
The most remarkable event and yet challenging was when we learned that our daughter, Brittany (age 28) had breast cancer. I use that word "HAD" with thanks to God. It was through people around the world praying for her and us that we were able to get through the most difficult times of it. Even going through the surgery and chemo, Brittany continued to work for a law firm and continue going to law school three nights a week. We are now done with chemo, hair is growing back and we say a hugh thank you to God.

ance at the high school level with concerts throughout the year, along with directing the CA All State Youth Choir for my 11th year and in my 25th as pianist and worship leader for a Church. What a privilege for me! My wife, Susan, also teaches at the elementary and middle school level and we both love what we do. Our children are grown and we have one grandchild age 3 and what a delight she is.
I continue to be blessed to travel with my state choir each summer to parts of the world that I would have never thought I would be able to go and can't think of where I'd rather be than with some great kids.
