Keri's Story
Where do I begin. I was married for the past 12 years but a I am currently going through a divorce. I have three beautiful children: Blake 7, Dara 5, and Logan 3. I currently am staying at home with them full time and running an in home daycare.
After graduation High School I attended a small Mennonite College in Kansas(Tabor). At the time College was not a desire of mine so I attended a Nanny School in Denver, CO. On completition of those courses I found a job in NC. I was in NC from 1991-1995 I married in 1995 and my first child was born in 2001. I stopped working to stay home full-time in September of 2002. I love being a mom, and having the opportunity to be with them everyday.
I returned to Clovis, NM in August of 2005 to be near family. I earned my Associate of Arts in Business July 2006.

ading back to get my Masters Fall 2010.
My inspirations in life come from my Father who went back to school later in life and earned his Teacher Degree around the same age I was when i went back. Two other people that inspired me where two Junior High coaches, Robert Tanner, and Louis Maestes. They always encouraged me to be myself and two do my best at whatever I did.
I lived in a dorm at Tabor College. It was fun and interesting at the same time. The crazy part about the dorms I lived in was that the only time boys could come to the girls dorm was on two days a week and for only a few hours. During these hours the doors had to be ajar or you would be written up by the RA. You talk about a sheltered life, you betcha. I have since grown and no longer need an RA to keep an I on me. Ha! Ha!
In 10 years, I hope to be a Child and Family Counselor. I'm going to get there by going back to get my MS in Family and Children counseling from the University of Phoenix Online.
