Life
My Spouse
Met him through a good friend of mine who was dating his brother. Met him at the Coastal Mart where I was working. Gee, let me update this. Been married 8 years on August 2nd of this year. Have a son who will be 3 on November 22nd, his name is Nathaniel Todd. He's quite my little man. He was diagnosed with Down Syndrome the day after he was born, if I'm not working full-time at the local Mental Health agency, I'm taking Nathaniel to appointments. He had a hole in his heart when he was born, the first six months of his life were spent in and out of the hospital, fortunately we only live two blocks from the hospital. He's very healthy, however for all of his problems. He still isn't walking on his own yet, but he will walk while you hold his hand. He also loves the potty....not quite fully potty trained yet. his therapists are wonderful, he has visits usually 4-5 times a week. Well, that's about it for now.
My Pets
I have two dogs, Bizet and Brahms. Bizet is a collie shepherd mix with three legs, she was hit by a car when she was three months old. Bizet will be nine in November. Brahms is a pit-bull retriever mix, pretty hyper and very protective, she is now 4.
My Job
I have been employed for the local Mental Health/Drug & Alcohol agency since arch 2002. I actually fell into the job, when the temp agency closed the secretary from the office called me to see if I had found another job yet. So I started working as a file clerk and became the Lead Receptionist(after I returned from Maternity leave). I actually worked up until the day before Nathaniel was born(he was actually a week early, he was due on Thanksgiving Day). I guess that's it for now. Bye.
