Kerry's Story
Life
After high school I attended the University of Montana in Missoula where I earned my B.A. in Psychology and played on the tennis team. I earned an M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Western Michigan University and my Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida. After completing my education I worked in for 11 years in Executive Development and Leadership Research at AT&T in New York City and New Jersey. In 1987 I joined the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC where I spent 23 years studying and practicing Executive Development. I left to start two Leadership Development companies of my own in 2010 but I continue to serve as a Senior Fellow at both the Center for Creative Leadership in NC, as well as at The Conference Board in NYC.

My Pets
I have a brilliant Border Collie with a wonderful disposition and an enormous capacity for learning. Murphy is a natural Shepard who is always trying to herd his family into one place.
My Kids
My oldest daughter, Kjersten, is a Professor of Sociology at Reed College in Portland. I have two step-children; Melissa who is Manager of an apartment complex in Franklin, Tennessee and Chris who is an Engineer with Nissan in Tennessee. I am blessed with 5 amazing grandchildren; Finn, Knute, Delling, Kiley and Weston
My Job
I am an Organizational Psychologist, Executive Coach, Trainer, and author. I am President of Mangrove Leadership Solutions in the Nashville area but also a Senior Fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina. I spend my time helping senior executives develop leadership capacity in themselves and in their organizations.
