Keven's Story
Hi all,
I have very fond memories of my Claresholm, Alberta roots. After graduation, I attended the University of Lethbridge for one year then spent two years in Italy as a missionary. In 1982 I transferred to Brigham Young University where I graduated with a BS in Physical Education and Coaching in 1986. I taught high school math and physical education and coached football, basketball, tennis, and track. I completed a master's degree from Utah State University in 1989. In 1997, after 11 years in public education, I returned to school to pursue a doctoral degree. I graduated from Arizona State University in the year 2000. nning in the fall of 2002. I have been teaching at BYU ever since.
I met my wife in 1982 at BYU and we were married in December 1983. We have five children and three grandkids. My oldest daughter completed her BS and MS at BYU in athletic training and she is currently working at a local arthritis clinic. Whitney, our second, has three kids and is a stay-at-home mom. The kids are adorable. Greg has been married for nearly two years after serving a mission in Detroit, Michigan. Geoff, just three weeks home from his mission, will continue his studies at Utah State University in pre physical therapy. Matthew, our last is 17, and will be in his senior year in high school. My wife Cindy, is from seattle, Washington. We are happy and feel very blessed.
