Life
Keven (Kevin while in High School)Ward is an ordained Elder in the Church Of God In Christ. Elder Keven Ward is former Pastor of the Misawa Church Of GOD In Christ (COGIC), Japan Jurisdiction Churches Of GOD In Christ, Aomori Prefecture, Misawa City Japan. He also served as the Superintendent of the Northern Japan Jurisdiction Churches Of GOD In Christ. Elder Ward is a native of Lebanon, Tennessee. In 1988, Elder Ward graduated with honors, from Lebanon Senior High School, and in the same year enlisted in the United States Air Force under the delayed entry program. On 12 February 1989, Elder Ward left home for Air Force basic training. In 1990 he was licensed a Minister while serving at Victory Temple Church Of GOD In Christ, in Plattsburgh, New York. In July of 1997 he underwent examination by the COGIC Oklahoma Northwest Ordination Board and was ordained an Elder in Church Of GOD In Christ. In February of 1998 Elder Ward was reassigned to Misawa AB, Japan. He continued working for the Lord at Misawa Church Of GOD In Christ, under the Pastorate of Elder Paul Sylvester. In August of 1999, Bishop Archie Buchanan appointed Elder Ward Pastor of the Misawa Church Of GOD In Christ where he served until May 2005. Keven Ward completed his Bachelor in Theology(May 2003), from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College. In May 2005, Keven Ward and family was reassigned to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
Pastor Ward is married to Tamara Lynnette Ward, and they have four children, Jozalyn, Mylan, Jeremiah and Ebriannah.
