Kevin's Story
Life
I joined the Army shortly after high school. Met my wife at Ft Lewis, WA., Went to Germany where my son (Joshua(17) was born. Then I lived in Hawaii for four years , where my daughter (Jessica(15) was born. I retired from the Army in Aug 1997, and now live in Rochester, NH.
I sometimes wonder why I ever got out of the Army. Life seemed to be so much easier when I was in. Civilian life has been so up and down. The majority of the people I've met since being out don't give a *hit that I was in the service. How is it possible to respect someone when they don't even respect you? Well enough of that!
We now have 3 beautiful grandsons who bring much joy to Cindy's and my life. We love watching them grow & learn. But most of all spoiling them with much needed attention and then sending them home. It's amazing how quite it can be when they have gone home, allowing Grandma & Grandpa some much needed time to recuperate. If my wife and I knew that having grand children was this much fun, we would have had them 1st. :)
