Kevin's Story
Life
I'm one hundred pages into the book i'm writing; if only Nesha Schumann could see me now. It's about a man and a huge personal decision he has to make, which is a theme that's probably been written about in books hundreds if not thousands of times, but this one has at least two twists. Spring $49.95 on me in ten years (at the pace I'm writing it, that's what books will cost then) and you'll find out when I do how it turns out.
School
If I could go back and know then what I know now, I'd do it in a second. Biggest crush? She was a junior when I was a senior but I didn't realize it was a crush until a couple years later and by then she was lets say otherwise smittenized. Inspiring teacher? Probably Nesha Schumann in that she forced me to think about my writing instead of just stringing enough words together to form enough sentences to get by.

College
I graduated (finally) in 1984 from the University of Nebraska with a B.A. in Criminal Justice; yes, it only took six years, but once they got rid of 3-fers at the bars it went much more quickly. Some great memories were: Sneaking booze into Memorial Stadium (an officially dry place, but you know...); hearing the Poli Sci professor planning (semi-seriously) to blow up the bell tower after continually hearing it interrupt his lectures; the Sociology professor constantly mispronouncing the word "condom" (he said it as "con-dome"), not that it mattered much in the scheme of the class; writing a forty page term paper in about two days and somehow getting a 89% on it (see above 3-fer comment); and the THRILL of graduation and knowing it was all worth it. Would love to go back for a Masters but life called and is continuing to do so.
