Kevin's Story

After graduating from Nampa high, I attended Rick's College in Rexburg for 2 years in the pre-pharmacy program. I met a gorgeous gal who later became my wife after dating for 2 years. We moved to Pocatello where I earned my pharmacy degree. Our last year in Pocatello, we had our first of four children named Kolby. He is currently attending BYU in Provo, Ut. and will be finishing his second year in the next 4 weeks. He plans on coming home for a short while before serving a 2 year mission. He then plans on attending Idaho State University with the goal of being accepted into their pharmacy program. Our daughter, Kynlee, will be a senior next year. Our next child is Kameron who will be a freshman, and Kason will be in the 4th grade. After finishing pharmacy school, I moved back to Nampa in 1990. I worked at K-Mart pharmacy for 2 years before going in to business with my Dad. He is partially retired now and works about 15 hours a week in the store because for some odd reason he just isn't ready to hang it up yet. My wife and daughter love dance and enjoy teaching their little "Sugar Babies" team at the studio where my daughter has danced for many years. I still enjoy several sports...gol...Expand for more
f, racquetball, water and snow skiing...but usually will go hunting when I can fit it in our busy schedule. I have 4 brother-in-laws who live over in eastern Idaho who are all avid hunters and fisherman. During the bow season I usually try to go for a week with them and we have a total blast. Kam is getting old enough now to hunt and so it will be a thrill to get him involved in something that we are so priveledged in our area to be able to do. With four kids all going in different directions, they keep us very busy. Kynlee seems to always be dancing, Kam is looking forward to the next big wrestling tournament, and Kason just wants to be included in all of it. I took him out hunting last week and he loved being in the great outdoors and being able to shoot his gun (even if it is only a BB gun at this point). It was a beautiful day and we both had a blast being able to hunt, have fun and generally just spend some quality time together. I hope it warms back up soon because we are already planing our next trip. Well, that gives you a short update on what has been going on since the good o'l days at Nampa High. Hope everyone is doing well, and hope to hear or see from you soon....Kevin
