School
Hey Everyone!
I hope you are doing well. Things have been going great... after our tour at CHS, I went to A-squared/C-squared, then to Frostburg State U. I married in 2001 and have a house in Pasadena. The wife and I are expecting our first child in March '06 and we plan on moving to Western Maryland. I'm ready to get out of Pasadena and start some country living.

College
After high school, I attended Anne Arundel Community College and received an Associates degree in Environmental Science. Then, I transferred to Frostburg State University and received a Bachelor of Science with a major in Envionmental Analysis and Planning and a minor in Biology.
Frostburg was a blast! I learned a lot and met some interesting people. I still keep in touch with my roomates. We had some good times and we drank a lot of beer!
After Frostburg, I entered the working world and took additional courses along the way. I also received a certificate in Land Surveying from Catonsville Community College.

Workplace
At Harms & Associates, I worked in the...Expand for more
environmental services section doing FSD's, wetland delinations, CAD work and reports. I also worked in the surveying section as a survey tech and went out in the field regularly with the survey crews as a rodman then instrument man. It was a good job, but I decided to focus on the environmental field, so I went to MDE.
While at MDE, I've been involved in many different things including the flood mitigation division where I worked with survey-grade RTK GPS and GIS. I even found myself managing the state's flood mitigation grant program for a short while. I had to testify at Board of Public Works meetings which consisted of the Governor, Comptroller and Treasurer... that was scary!
I'm still working with GIS regularly and I'm still involved in many different projects. I'm hoping to transfer to Frostburg next year.

Military
I never joined the military, but I did go to a few recruiters after college (Coast Guard, Army National Guard and Army Reserve). I even went so far as taking the ASVAB exam, and scored pretty well I might add. It just wasn't in the cards for me. I had too many responsibilities... wife, house, etc. Besides, I don't think my wife would have been able to make it alone, however, I still think about it often. Maybe in my next life.
