Life
Hi All, Well I moved out the day I graduated PA in with Denis my high school sweetheart. We married a year later & were posted (military) to Ottawa for a year. We moved to CFS Moisie (Quebec) 84-88, then to CFB Comox (BC) 88-92 & then to CFB Chilliwack (BC) 92-96. In Moisie we had two wonderful daughters, Kassandra & Brittany that are both now married to wonderful men that are in the military. Every one of our postings was wonderful & we are so glad to were able to experience so many great people & parts of Canada. In 1996 Denis retired from the military & we moved to the Edmonton area. I returned to post secondary several times over the year and am now a Registered Psychologist. Denis worked as an instructor in Power Engineering at the NAIT for 18 years and retired in January 2015. He is now retired from his position as the Chair/Instructor of the Power Eng. Program at...Expand for more
Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. We moved to our version of paradise in Departure Bay Nanaimo with a small ocean view and can walk to the ocean but moved to even a better paradise in Parksville. I retired from my position as a Psychologist with the school district in 2020 and life is fantastic, aside from the nasty Covid thing. We get to pursue our passions of cycling (touring), kayaking, Pickleball and stone carving’ We've been happily married almost 39 years now. Our girls both have two children now and thus we are grandparents to four beautiful kids, Payton (6) & Emy (2.5) , and Laila(6) & Grayson(4). I've kept in touch with only a few people from high school as life took us away quickly from NS. It's always fun to catch-up with folks and this site works well in that context. If you remember me, look us up in Parksville BC and perhaps we can meetup for coffee :-)
