Life *** IMPORTANT NEW INFO ON THE REUNION AT THE END OF THIS BIO*** Okay, I guess since I get a kick out of it when other people from MP post some info, then I'll take a minute to do it, too. (I only signed up on this site so that we could find people for the reunion, but it has been fun to see what some people are up to.) Let's see... I think I'm just as silly, goofy, strange, and fond of laughter and dance as I was in high school, but otherwise my personality might be hard to recognize. (I assume this may be true for a lot of us - how many of us really had a clue who we were at that age?) Anyway, I gladly quit the whole overachiever thing, and am not fond of competition in any form. What I do, I do for fun, including exercise (mostly yoga & some dancing) and work. I realized shortly after high school that I wanted to do service/helping/healing work in some form. Due to suffering for quite a while from some pretty severe health problems, I got way into Chinese medicine, chiropractic, nutrition, etc., and thought about going into those fields. But I think I really found my calling when I started nannying 8 years ago. So, I'm a nanny - and I freaking Love it! When I'm not running around playing with kids, I'm usually reading books on child development and parenting skills, or talking about them with friends who are parents and/or in the fields of social work or child psychology. It's definitely a passion. I've always wanted to have kids (well,since I was about 20), but that just didn't work out; so now I help other people raise theirs, and I love them like they we...Expand for more
