Kim's Story
The photo is me just before landing at Watsonville, CA Labor Day, 2011, in our 2009 acquisition, a 1946 Aeronca Champ that my husband and I have added to our family of two Cessnas. Our 1962 Cessna 150B has been restored "better than new" and won Best Restoration at its first Airshow. We finished rebuilding the engine, cowling and other major parts in 2011 and proudly took home Best Aeronca at the Watsonville Airshow.

whole adult life as a flight instructor, mechanic, corporate and freight pilot plus a number of other interesting flying and non-flying positions.
My husband Scott, (a real rocket scientist) and I live on the Central Coast of California in Santa Maria.
My family moved from Sterling Park, VA the summer of '73 which is why I was not at Broad Run High for my senior year. Graduating from Beaumont High gave me the opportunity to meet and make new friends in California.
