Kim's Story
Life
2006 Update - History - Moved from Vancouver to Montreal in 1976, moved back to Vancouver in 1990 with a marriage in between. I then moved from Vancouver to Boston, Massachusetts in 2001 and a second marriage.
I received my Bachelors in Nursing two years ago and although still working for the same "for non-profit" company my responsibilities have changed. I supervise 12 residential group homes for the mentally ill (the medical piece only). I conduct staff trainings on a variety of health issues ranging from diabetes to HIV. Every two months, I teach a two-day medication certification class to new employees, for the state of Massachusetts. And lastly I am "Nurse on-call" 24/7 for the residential system on the northshore of Boston.

rtainly different, I do hope to move back to Vancouver one day. My best friend is my sister Kelly, she is a criminal defense lawyer and lives in Vancouver. Her two sons (ages 11 & 9) are the light of my life. They are "wicked cool" as they say in Boston. I get out to the west coast nearly every year to see my family. Mom is doing well, healthy, active and still looks great.

March 2015 - Not much has changed, love Boston... hate the winters. It's interesting how I remember New Westminster days as though they were yesterday. It was a great town in which to be a teenager, well it was for me. I wish all my old friends a great future, lots of good health and a lovely 'early' retirement.
