Life
~ Married John Hyde (96) on May 7, 2005 ~
Hi. Well...what can I say. Life happened. Maybe not for the better, maybe not for the worse, but it sure did happen.
In 2000 my home of 21 years burned to the ground. I should have been home, and am only alive because of my God-daughter that I was babysitting. And ever since that life-altering day, I have been working to get my life, in all aspects, back on track.
I am very happy now and am looking forward to everything that lies ahead of me on this great big road of life.
I have been with John Hyde (class of '96) for 7 years. We are living in Moundsville and have a 7 year old Dalmatian, Sadie.
John and I were married on May 7, 2005, and are enjoying being newlyw...Expand for more

I went to OUE to become a nature photographer. After 1 year, I became allergic to the chemicals and had to change my major. Years later, I still had not graduated and did not have a career path in mind. For 2 years I worked as a Zoo Educator at Oglebay, and since 2000 I have been the Office Manager at a court reporting agency. I enjoy my job and have no serious plans to pursue more education right now. But who knows, I'd like to have a degree at some point.
All in all, this is NOT how I imagined my life. I thought I would have finished school, be a photographer for Country Magazine, have a house, be married, and have at least one child by now. But...life happened...unexpectedly. :)
