Kim's Story

Life Hi Everyone! My ex-husband John and I had been together since 1979. We lived in San Diego from 1979 to 1981. We finished college together at San Diego State in 1980, then moved to Tahoe for a year in 1981. From there we went to Yuma for two years. I taught first grade at Rancho Viejo in 1982-83 and kindergarten at Rolle School in 1983-84. John grew up in San Diego, so Yuma was a difficult adjustment for him. We came back to San Diego in 1984. I was a substitute teacher for 12 years in San Diego north county. We stayed until November 2005 when we moved to Prescott, AZ. John had been a building contractor for about 25 years. We sold our home in Escondido and moved to Prescott to start a new home inspections...Expand for more
business. When the housing market crashed, so did our business. June 2008, we returned to San Diego. We separated in 2010. Divorced 2013. Thirteen years later, I am still regrouping! I am substitute teaching in San Diego County, My little toy poodle, Mimi, passed away in June 2018. I miss her so much. She was my little buddy. About 6 months later I got two more poodles. A tiny, 6 pound, 5-year-old mom named Honey and her little puppy, Baby, who grew up to be twice her size! He is her baby. He was a singleton, so no siblings. I am still substitute teaching in north county San Diego. I no longer live in Carlsbad. Had to move inland about 11 miles. I hope you are all happy and well. Sincerely, Kim

Annette Sims just told me about Lisa Biltz Darby. My heart goes out to her family and anyone who loved her.

Annette sent this wonderful picture to me. I want to share it with all of you.

Angel person, Lisa Biltz Darby. <3
So touching. <3
The English language leaves too much room for misunderstanding. A case in point!
I have so many wonderful second cousins I haven't had a chance to get to know. One of them, Liliana, sent this picture to me! She says this is our Mexico family. I've always been quite proud of that piece of my heritage. TH

Home sweet home. His own room. He spends a lot of time there, door open of course. ♥️
Loving his new toy, just delivered from Amazon. See the tiny blue rubber toy in his paws? It bounces and goes far across the length of the living room and family room. FUN FUN FUN!
My beautiful boy. ❤
