Workplace Kim started her Los Angeles career in 1981 as a pioneering producer in the new field of computer generated imagery where she created special effects for feature films and commercials. As a writer, producer, graphics designer, video editor and composer, she has been involved over the past twenty years in the entertainment business. Kim started her writing career producing comedy radio spots and primetime network promos for ABC and Warner Bros. She then joined the writing staff of ABC's hit sitcom, “Home Improvement” as a writer and Story Editor through its final season. Kim has professionally collaborated with Tim Allen over the past fifteen years working as his ghostwriter, head comedy writer and speechwriter. She has developed and written a wide array of material for Tim including his stand-up comedy, award show appearances, public engagements, hosting events, press releases and his numerous talk show appearances including The Tonight Show, Letterman, Regis, Rosie, and opening comedy sketches for Oprah and The Montreal Comedy Festival.
