Kim's Story

I've done a little of everything since leaving Triad. Life at home wasnt the greatest so I left the nest right after graduating and met a young lady in Mt Vernon and soon she was in a family way. I married her but it didnt last 3 months. We have a daughter, Tonya. I moved to Sorento and started anew and got a job working for a company in St Louis and later found employment in Highland at B-Line. I married a young lady from Highland and we bought a home in Sorento and started making a decent life for ourselves. We had 2 girls. Kimberly and Barbie. I learned to play the guitar and soon it was taking me to places I shouldnt be going. I was drinking alot and my wife was getting frustrated with it and left after 11 yrs of marriage. Soon after I quit both the drinking and guitar and settled in Mt Olive where I met a lady. Two yrs later we married and had one son. Kyle. I worked for a company there in town for yrs and later for a company in E ST Louis. We sold our home there and moved back to Sorento. We bought a house for Mom and Dad and a new one for us. Automotive in Granite. I ran for mayor and won but soon was fighting a legal battle to keep it because of my driving record. The band was haunting me again. Between my dad passing away, the legal battle and my wife's surgery, we just couldnt hold it together anymore. She moved to Litchfield and I remained to pick up what was left. I lost the battle and a judge ousted me from the mayor seat, I got laid off from Tower, and soon I was nearly losing everything. I went back to E St Louis for work and soon met a lady from Troy, online. Shes a teacher in the Triad district. We now live in Troy. You just never know what life is going to throw at you. All I can say is get ready and deal with it. I have 4 children and 2 step children. And between the two of us we have 11 grandchildren. Thats including the twins! I cant say I have made good decisions on my lifes journey, I cant say I have learned to live with all my mistakes. But my mistakes have humbled considerably. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Sharon Zobrist, because Id really like to talk to her.
