Kim's Story
Life
1986 - Began Mesa Community; graduated with AA degree.
1988 - 1 semester at ASU.
1989 - Started working in the International Studies Magnet program at Central High School, downtown Phoenix. Stayed there for 13 years, helping to organize all details related to sending students to and receiving students from our sister schools in Russia, Japan, France, Spain, China and Mexico.
1991 - Married my college sweetheart, Robert King - still together!
2002 - At the end of the school year, I resigned from my position at Central High to become a stay-at-home mom to Sean, who was born later that year in November.
2005 - Rob, Sean and I moved to the Rockwall, Texas, area to be close to his brother.

o second son, Aidan.
2008 - Returned to Arizona in October. Lived in Tempe while Rob transitioned from residential real estate to his former profession of estate management. Sean attended my old elementary school (Curry) for his Kindergarten year. That was fun!
2009 - Rob got a great job as a household manager at a large ranch in the Texas desert, near the Mexican border. The closest town to us has a population of only 6,000...some big life adjustments to make!! Every day we're experiencing things that are completely new to us. Sean is in 1st grade and Aidan is 28 months old, both doing well and starting to have fun together as brothers. We got to visit San Antonio for the first time and can't wait to go back.
