Life (The update below was written in 2008): After High School, I worked as a computer programmer (thanks to SCROC) while attending Dominguez Hills College majoring in Math. After 4 years there, I got involved in the fields of Fitness and Nutrition for 8 years. During that time I was married and my daughter, Alana, was born in '79. After my husband and I split in '84, I went back into computer programming. From '86-'88, I worked for TRW-REIS (Real Estate Information Systems) in Anaheim. In '88, I realized my lifelong dream and my daughter and I moved up to Big Sur, California. And it's a good thing too since I met the man of my dreams, Paul Tuff, up here in the Central Coast of California in '98 and we were married in '05. We bought a house together in the foothills of Salinas in '03 with a lovely view of the nearby mountains. I have worked as a programmer for the past 18 years at HSBC in Salinas (formerly Household International) in their credit card division. Paul is a Massage Therapist and teaches Massage Therapy at the local community college, Monterey Peninsula College (MPC). Paul and I enjoy the great outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, and traveling. And I am a dancer. Life's been good to me so far... (this was written in 2008) This update is from 2012: For over a year now, I have been enjoying walking, riding my bike, catching a ride on the MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) or ridesharing to get where I need to go. I have been without my own car (since February 2011) and I LOVE not spending as much money on the oil companies and the auto industry and putting my money instead into public transportation.
