Kim's Story
Life
I've been living in Ottawa since graduating high school. I have a son (13) and daughter (16), a dog and an ex-husband. I've had more fun being a mother than I could have imagined. I get back to Pembroke occasionally to see my parents, but encourage them to visit Ottawa as often as possible. I love driving, but not on Hwy. 17...it's too slow. That's all I have for now.
Workplace
I started my work career as a mortgage broker bringing affordable mortgages to many young couples from Ottawa ...Expand for more
to Chalk River. After marrying and having a child in 1992, I began working with my husband in the construction industry. We had a masonry company that specialized in commercial and industrial construction. Although I am no longer with my husband, I continue to work with him part time operating this company. I have recently taken a position as office manager at a mortgage borkerage company that my boss from 16 years ago owns. It's a nice fit and I didn't have to be interviewed. Life is great.
