After high school I attended The University of Kansas in Lawrence and studied architecture. When I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, I worked in a St.Louis archtectural firm for approx. one year. I'd always wanted to travel though, and found that sitting at a drawing table (or computer) didn't suit me at all and so I began applying for flight attendant positions with the major air carriers. It took a full four years before the right position came along and in the meantime I worked first in a law office and later for a local shoe import company in the art department. I was hired in 1994 by United Airlines and have been there ever since. Over the years my interests have grown and changed and my job affords me the ability to pursue any and all of them.
