Kim's Story
Wow, 30 years out of high school. I just don't feel that I should be that old. So I try not to act it! I married my high school sweetheart, Bill, and we've been married for 27 years and have 3 kids, Brice (23), Breanna (20) and Brett (16). After working for a few years putting Bill through Texas A&M, I basically quit working when I had Brice. I've been a stay-at-home mom all these years with a few little odd jobs here and there. Brice is intellectually disabled (the new term for mental retardation), so I have been very, very involved in his education and Special Olympic activities. n our lives and has taught us (and others) so much about life. Bre and Brett are both very mature young people that have a tolerance of others and care and concern for people with special needs. Bre is a junior at Texas A&M University and Brett is a junior in high school.
My other passion, besides my family, is playing tennis! I started playing in 1999 and play at least 3 times a week. We love to snowski/board as a family and try to go yearly. Sometimes we have to skip a year, unfortunately. We also love water activities...skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, riding our waverunner.
In general, I am very happy with my life and my family! I wouldn't trade any of it!
