Kim's Story
Life is Good!
We moved to Glendale Arizona in 2005 and we love it here. Its unfortunate we dont have any kids so instead we make up for it by treating ourselves to other things we have a few toys, a jeep, motor home, working on getting a boat. Yes there is water in the desert!!! We also take Tae Kwon Do . . . Hee Ahhh!

Well . . . I have had quite a few careers and have enjoyed every one. So here they are in a list and then below is my explanation:

In 1988 I graduated from Capital High School and West Olympia Beauty College. I worked as a cosmetologist for seven years. For five out of those seven years I worked for JC Penny Salon. I also made a hair braiding video, taught techniques at the local beauty college and volunteered my services for the Miss Grays Harbor Beauty Pageants. I loved working with people it was a lot of fun.
Than an unfortunate event took place, I was in an accident that herniated two disks in my back (L3 & L4). I tried to go back to work after seven months and just could not do it. So I went back to college and got my degree in Business.
After college I moved to Spokane, WA and became VP of USDM (US Dent Master, Inc.). USDM is a company that manufactures dent removal units similar to a welding unit. When I first started with USDM the company was nationwide in the US. We then we expanded to Germany and Africa. This was an intriguing job that I loved. It was a small company that ran on a skeleton crew so I got multi-tasking down and thrived at it! Then one of the biggest changes in my life happened the big "D".

WSDOT (WA State Department of Transportation) as a Transportation Planning Tech II . . . it was a good job but what I learned there is cubical life for me is a slow death. I was now looking for a change!
I meet up with an old family friend, Allon Peterman, and from that moment on we were inseperateable, best friends, and very much in love. We were married on July 22, 2000.
Around 2005 we decided to moved to the sun, Arizona. I figured it was also time to move on in my career path. I chose to get into the electrical field but it was only for a short time. The money would have gotten better but sometimes commercial work is very physical. I had another episode with my back I strained it too much and couldn't walk for 2 weeks and in the 3rd week I had to use a walker! That put the fear in me ! What will happen next time? What if I will never be able to hike, bike, or even walk again!
So along comes more schooling . . . I went to the Scottsdale School of Business and Real Estate and became a Realtor. I enjoy it very much and I'm specializing helping people who are going through home foreclosures. It feels good to help people who need to get out of a tough financial situation. It saves them from bankruptcy or an ever increasing debt that is destroying their family and their happiness.
Also Allon & I are getting ready to start up our own business. We have done all the research and now we are in the startup mode. So here again starts our new venture and excitement!
All and all I've had some ups and downs but it has been a wonderful life and I'm so happy to have someone very special to share it with. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and I hope you are just as happy in your life and I wish you the best.
