Kim's Story
Graduated Parkersburg High School 1974.
Joined US Navy, graduated Radioman school, sent to Naples Italy 1975
Married Oct 1975, got out of Navy in 1976, son Nick born Dec 1976.
Moved back to US with husband and son 1977. Navy sent us to Japan in 1978. Left Japan, joined US Naval Reserves and went to West Virgnia University in 1980.
Graduated WVU in 1983, divorced 1983. Moved to Washington DC area. Worked at ASD (RA) office in Pentagon from 1984-1989.
1989 Returned to active duty in US Navy and went to Air Traffi...Expand for more
c Control school. Graduated ATC school in 1989 and moved to Lemoore, CA.
Left Navy in 1995, finished graduate degree classes in 1996. Moved to Utah in 1998 and drove a semi-truck cross country for four years.
Remarried in 2002, moved back to West Virgnia. Husband Mark Dasher was in Air Force Reserves and was called up in 2004 and went to Iraq, Kuwait, etc. Mark retired in 2006 and we were able to return to WV.
Whew! We are done moving! I'm not moving out of our current house until they carry me out feet first!
