Kimberley's Story
Life
My family left Guam in 1987 to take care of my sick grandparents. I stayed for one year to attend UOG, then moved to Florida to be with my family.
I married Robert Hare in December of 1994 and we had a beautiful baby girl, Tori, on Valentines Day, 1998. She is our only child, not by choice, we would have loved to have more, but it wasn't in the cards ;-( We have been happily married for 13 years.
Robert works in the emergency department of a busy local hospital. He also plays in a rock band with fellow doctors, nurses, and PA's and he does stand up comedy as well for fun.
Our daughter, Tori, is in the fourth grade at West Melbourne School for Science. She is in the gifted student program, takes ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tennis, and violin, and tutors two days a week after schoo...Expand for more
l in her spare time. She hopes to become a vet when she grows up. No kidding... she has two Shih Tzu's, Chi Chai and Spud, two rabbits, Oreo and Buttercup, two mice, Anna and Christy, and five fish! She is a really neat, well-round child!
I stayed home with Tori for seven years and went back to work part-time when she went into the second grade. I work in the SLI unit (severely language impaired ) for the school board and I have a backround in sign language interpretation. My job is very rewarding as the children come to me a few years delayed in language and speech, but they are caught up by the time they enter kindergarten. I really enjoy it!
