Kimberli's Story
Well I guess a lot of people are getting on sites like this since our 20 year class reunion is coming up. After high school I went to EOU and got my bachelors in nursing. I moved around a little after that, finally settled in Boise for 10 years. My sister followed me with my nephew. So my nephew Kaleb and I are very close. I recently got a niece (Makenzie) also. I got tired of the traffic and figured my grandparents would eventually need some help so I moved to Baker. It was good timing, 5 months after I moved here my Grandpa was diagnoses with Cancer. He has since passed away so my grandma makes me dinner a lot! I bought an old house here and I'm still working on it. It is a great house though and Baker is close enough that I get to see my nephew a lot and my dad still lives in La Grande so he visits often. My mom ac...Expand for more
tually moved back to Baker about 6 months before me. So basically all the family is close. I travel quite a bit for fun. I'm going to Italy this fall for 3 weeks...I may not come back! My new hobby/business besides nursing, is fused glass. I have a kiln and lots of glass in my basement! It is fun and creative and I'm hoping to get a few major project on my house done so I can spend more time with my glass. I am making my own light fixtures for the house. My plan for the summer is to buy a travel trailer and spend a lot of time camping and fishing. NOT WORKING!! I'm also doing a horseback riding trip for a week. I'm missing the annual rafting trip with my dad for the class reunion however. I hope to hear from you and I hope to remember everyone! I'm excited to hear what everyone is doing with their lives.
