Life doesn't always turn out like you expect...
Just recently, my 3-year-old grandson came to live with me! I never expected to be starting over with parenting at this point in my life! However, even though I'm often exhausted, there's nothing like seeing the world through a child's eyes to remind you that there's more to life than the "daily grind"!

hing that we even discussed in my family. Graduating from high school wasn't really necessarily expected. However, I did end up at MSSU and got my BS in teaching in 1991. In May I finished my second masters degree at Pittsburg State and am beginning work on my Specialist degree. I have been a school counselor for the past 8 years but my most recent degree is in educational administration so I hope to find a job as a principal for the next school year!
