Kimberly's Story
Life
I'm the Chief Financial Officer for a national automated window coverings manufacturer. I have two sons Matt 27 and Jonathan 10. My husband, David and I live in Sachse. My mom lives 5 houses down. We lost my dad 3 years ago. Life has been pretty good.
School
Some of you may remember me from Bullock Elementary, or from Jackson Junior High, or North Garland High School. After high school I went on to the University of North Texas which was NTSU then and received my degree. My last semester I was very pregnant. Not a pretty sight around a college campus.
College
I finished my last year of college 8 month...Expand for more
s pregnant. I would not recommend this to anyone. That campus seemed to get bigger the further I went in my pregnancy. I should have been awarded a special degree just for walking with swollen feet!!!!
Workplace
I have been very fortunate to work for some really dynamic companies, such as La-Z-Boy Furniture Company, Zak's Specialty Stores, Inc., and Pioneer Chemical, Inc., doing all facets of Accounting and Finance. But by far my favorite has to be my current employer, BTX Holdings, Inc. As Chief Financial Officer I am challenged with a myriad of responsibilities. This is by far the best job I have ever had!!!
