K. C.'s Story

Life Greetings fellow bulldogs! I'm one of the few members of the class of 89 who still live in Thomasville. I'm still single and I don't have any kids, but I don't intend to stay that way. I am a federal employee looking forward to retirement in 2023!!! For those who attended the reunion in '99, it was good seeing all of you. Looking forward to renewing old friendships and getting reacquainted. For those who attended the reunion in '04, it's nice to know that we can still party with our old selves. :-) School My favorite teacher was my 2nd grade teacher Miss Coleman. One of my funniest memories was when Miss Stoball used to substitute and everybody called her Miss Snoball. Another one was when Mr. Glenn used to substitute simply because he had a funny voice. College I enjoyed my years at Valdosta State. GO BLAZERS!!!!!! I met some nutty people who have turned out to be some of the greatest friends I could have asked for. Congratulations to the VSU Blazers for winni...Expand for more
ng the Division II national championship in football on December 11, 2004 and again in 2007. During college, I pledged Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. I recently celebrated my 10th anniversary as a member. Workplace I am a federal employee and have been since 1998. Anyone looking for a job, go the Bureau's website. You'll have to do an internet search since I can't list the web address here. Pardon the shameless plug!!!! Military I entered Marine Corps boot camp 2 weeks after graduation. I remained in the Corps until 1993. My jobs during my military service were motor vehicle operator (truck driver) and in supply. During Desert Storm, I worked at MCLB Albany preparing gear to be shipped overseas. I had the pleasure to be a part of the color guard at a TCCHS game along with fellow classmate Stanton Knight. We were in boot camp during the same time, along with Joseph Williams. That was the hottest summer ever!!!!!!! Sand fleas and heat are definitely not my friends!!!
