Kimberly's Story
Life
After graduation I continued into the "13th Grade" by entering Camden County College. After graduating with a associates degree in Criminal Justice - I decided to go to truck driving school (The wait to go to the police academy was 2 years!). After finishing school I drove cross country for apprx. 3 years. Great experience - great money - excellent way to see the country! The last 2 years was a route from upstate PA to Oakland CA once a week. Great except for the snow!!!
During highschool I dated Keith Paller (you might not remember him - he transferred upstate during his last year). We have been together ever since. He went on to Electrician trade school and worked as an electrician for awhile. Then he enlisted in the Army in 1995. Did his time (ha ha) and was honorably discharged in 1998.
We were married in 1998 in a civil war reinactment wedding on a plantation in Virginia (very cool!) We bought a victorian home in upstate PA and set about the task of restoring it to its glory!
Ketih attended Penn State for diesel technology and graduated in 2000 - I 'retired' the day he graduated. We went on to reproduce 3 times - as luck would have it ... the kids are all healthy and cute enough to keep :) They w...Expand for more
ere born 1 1/2 years apart - hopefully they will all move out the same way!! During all of this Keith worked for a few trucking companys and rejoined the military National Guard for a additional 6 years. Eventually he returned to his electrician passion - as landed an excellent job wiring HUGE homes in Williamsport PA. Right about that time - he was called up to go to Iraq for 15 months. Off he went to do his time (again) and thankfully returned unharmed in 2005. Katelyn was only 3 months old when he left and running around yelling when he got home!
He resumed his career and we adjusted back to 'normal' life in upstate PA. The house did turn out gorgeous - but the town was like something out of a Steven King novel. Mayberry-ish. We were looking for a new house in a civilized area when he was offered a excellent opportunity in Florida! Found our dream house 30 minutes from the gulf and in a great neighborhood. We sold the house in 6 days and ran as fast as we could south.
I hope to continue with my education (as soon as the kids are all in school ) and maybe come out of retirement :) But, for now I'm enjoying the warm weather and great times I get to spend with our three kids...memories to last a lifetime.
