Employed by Pine Valley Central School as a first grade and then kindergarten teacher between 1992 and 2002

Daughter: Melinda Nicole Waag born on May 2, 2000
Son: Andrew George Waag born on July 10, 2002

Resigned from teaching in 2004 after extended child rearing leave
