Life
I've been married for 19 years, have 2 sons, 14 and 8 years old. Went directly into the Air Force after school, and still serving! Retirement is looming, and I'm looking forward to doing something else. The military has changed and isn't the same one I joined some 22 years ago. I have now retired from the AF after doing 22.5 years ... glad...Expand for more
its over.... but back working for the government as a civilian... guess I wasn't THAT sick of it.
Spent 2 tours in Baghdad, Iraq and have returned safely both times. My first trip in April of 2004 was a real eye opener. Was shot at, ambushed, and rocketed on more than one occasion, but made it through. It really makes you appreciate family.
