Kirk's Story
Life
My Spouse --
We met at U.C. Riverside, May 1981. We were very active in politics together and were married in 1985.
My Pets --
We have two standard poodles, for which the children are alledgedly responsible for caring. The largest is named Mousse (he's 60 lbs. and french cut). The smaller (30 lbs.) is named Eclair, though she generally goes by Claire.
My Kids --
Kathryn, age 13, is a wonderful little girl. She plays on the school chess team, sings in the choir, plays a mean game of volleyball, loves to build things, and is the gentlest creature I've ever met.

ds. If the player names and statistics of NBA players were chemical elements he'd be a Nobel prize winner already. He loves playing with his sister, reading books, and wrestling with his dogs.
My Job --
I teach logic, argumentation, forensics, and honors government at The Meadows School, a prep. school in Las Vegas, NV. I also coach their state champion and nationally ranked debate team, which keeps me travelling around the country more than I'd like.
After several years of semi-golf bum retirement, teaching has been a welcome second career (as a followup to 15 years spent working in politics and think tanks within California state government).
Most importantly, my golf handicap is now in single digits.
