Kit Cooper:  

UpDated Aug. 4th. I moved to Auburn this past May into a nice manufactured home in a mobile home community. I am doing better but still miss my husband very much. My son has moved in with me, so it's not so lonely. I am writing this on Jan 30 2009 and this is so very difficult. Dan my loving sweet husband was instantly killed in a car crash on Jan. 21 on HighWay 3 in Shelton. He is with our Father in Heaven but I still miss him so much. He was a great man of God and it does do my soul good to know where he is but the pain is still so raw. I wish you could have all met him and he was looking forward to going to my High School Reunion with me. I wish each and everyone God's Blessings and please tell your loved ones you love them everyday which is what I did and don't have to live with the guilt that I didn't tell him that the last time I saw him. Dan and Kit Cooper (Doty) have been married for 27 years this past April. They have been together for 29 years. Feb. 3rd 2009 30 yrs. They met on the Renton Loop (Remember that?). Kit and her girlfriend Karen Buck actually picked Dan up on a rainy miserable night, Dan was soaked to the bone and Kit felt sorry for him, How God works in mysterious ways. Dan and Kit have two beautiful children, Sara who will be 28 in June (God that makes us feel old) and Danny who was 24 in Dec. Sara is married to Vince and they have two precious girls, Libberty-Rose (Libby) age 7 and Felicity age 1 1/2 years old. They moved to Asheboro, North Carolina this past summer from Lamont, Illinois. Danny our youngest moved to Washington a year ago April from Arizona and lives in Renton with his girlfriend Casey. He works and goes to college at Renton Votech. Dan and Kit moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1985 when their children were little. It was a hard thing to leave, family, friends and everything familiar.
