Kitty's Story
Life
This is 2012! My history has not changed, just my present. Hi! I just wanted to share a little bit of my life with you since high school. I was married 35 years but divorced now. I have three grown children - 2 boys: Kris who was 50 when he passed away in July of 2005, and Troy 49, and my baby girl Shawni 45. I lived in San Diego 31+ yrs and in the legal community for 30+ yrs. First with the San Diego County District Attorney and then with the Department of Justice California Attorney General's Office. I even went to law school for a period of time. Now I'm living in Seattle to be close to my baby's babies.
I am loving every precious moment I can spend with my baby girl's babies! I have 10 grand babies and 7 of them are girls! And I am a great grandmother too. Being a grand mother must have been my calling in life. I cannot imagine anything more precious or more rewarding and fun.
My daughter's daughters are so smart it is scary. I know, I know, ALL grand mothers think their grand babies are smart!! However, mine really are! It must be their Hispanic and Asian heritage that puts them over the top. Alexandria just turned 13 when she was accepted into Todd Bemer High School here in Federal Way, Washington as a sophomore. She will be going to Running Start next year which means she will be in college at age 14 and at the University of Washington by the time she is 16 taking Pre-Med. She wants to be a...Expand for more
infant physician. How cool is she? As for Miranda, who is 10, wants to be a Rock Star and is enrolled in the Rock Star School in Seattle, WA. She is has also been accepted for pre college studies at an academy high in academics in Federal Way. The same academy that Alexandria attended.
Okay, I reached the point where retirement looked like fun so I retired to spend more time with my grand babies!!!. I seriously doubt I will ever remarry. Too much trouble. Don't think I could ever trust another man with my heart and soul again. I'll bet quite a few of you think I'm crazy for saying that. Tell me about it. This is 2012 and I have not changed my mind.
I really loved being in school, whether it was high school, college or law school. I am considering going back to school these days! Retiring is boring now. Also looking for a place at which to volunteer.
E-mail me!! I would love hearing from you. I'm still waiting to hear from you guys!! Don't be shy! At our age, what's to be shy about now? At 68 I still feel the same way. What is there to be shy about contacting me and telling me about your life?
School
Hi Gang!
How is everyone and where is everyone? One thing that I wanted to remember about school was how much I loved the water and the fact that we got to swim for gym. How cool was that? Well, I STILL love the water. Have to live near it always. Perhaps it stems from being a desert rat.
