Military & Civilian life!
I went to Ft. Polk Louisiana for basic training in Dec. 1967 and from there I went to FT. Meade, Maryland in 1968 after basic training for my advanced training. Then in September of 1968 I went to Vietnam. I came back to the States in September of 1969 and got out of the Army. I worked for over 40 y...Expand for more
ears as a electrician.I worked for over 40 different companies and probably closer to 50. I moved back to my hometown in Fayette, Missouri in June/1981. I retired from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. It is about 35 miles S.E. of Fayette. Retiring is the best thing I ever did because the job was becoming a burden.
