Kris's Story
Life
After Arroyo HS, I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Electronic Engineering degree. I married Helen Schultz 2 days after graduating in 1973. We moved to San Diego where I went to work for the Government in a Research Lab. Helen and I had two kids, Abbie and Chris. Helen and I divorced and went our separate ways. I remarried in 1982 and had one more child, Karl. All the kids are successful. Chris became a Fireman/Paramedic with his first day on the job when San Diego had the wild fires a few years ago. He is married with three kids. Abbie is a paralegal working for the DA and married to a Detective with five kids. Karl just graduated from USC and is about to start his 4th year of Medical School in Chicago. Karl played in a popular band (3 Simple Words) in San Diego for many years just like Dad when I was in El Monte (do you remember the Fine Loves?). I divorced in 2006 and now have a wonderful loving relationship with my girlfriend, who is telling me...Expand for more
what to change in my profile .... (she just left, let's get back to businesss) I have a happy life and enjoy many pursuits. I work as a Consultant in designing specialized cameras that record high-speed events (i.e car crash testing, ballistics, Hollywood special effects and other crazy stuff). I worked for Eastman Kodak for 18 years and have been on my own for 9 years. My passions in life are all my Grandchildren that I dearly love and a wild event I go to every year called Burning Man (burningman_dot_com). I am involved in designing furniture and cutting art glass as hobbies. I use to run a lot in the 80's and 90's but most of the time I just walk now. When I was with Eastman Kodak I was fortunate enough to be able to travel around the world a great deal and visited many wonderful places like France, China, Japan & Egypt. I have a zest for life and I am enjoying watching the kids grow up.
Drop me a note. I have lost touch with many of you from 1969.
