Krissy's Story
Life
November 2oth, 2007
Here's the rundown:?) I am the most happily married and will argue that with anyone:?) We are on our tiny acreage with plenty to do.
The kids? Well, Steffen, now 20, has completed his courses in music production and engineering in AZ, an internship at Conway Studios in Hollywood, and has come back to the area to open "Lyndon Bridge Studios", located here at our home. He and my husband Steve have begun this as a joint venture and already have had excellent clients and word of mouth.
Brennan, 16, has chosen this year to live with his Dad, but, slowly we are getting to know each other better again:?) He endured badly breaking his left hand in September and is still recovering with one more surgery to go, but has more determination than ever to become excellent in his guitar playing. I'm impressed.
Olivia is 11 now and we made the decision this year to go with traditional schooling for the girls. So, she is in 6th grade at middle school and doing wonderfully. She has an amazing sense of humor to rival any adult, incredibly quick-witted. (Like me;?) She thinks she is ready to take on the world. She is growing too fast and won't let me squish her to keep her little:?)
Faith is 9 and bringing home all A's from 3rd grade, which thrills me to know that people now have to take homeschooling seriously and know it's ...Expand for more
not just lazy learning:?) She has a budding talent in art and frequently leaves behind large messes for me to clean while she shows me the amazing thing she just made:?)
Timmy is 5 now and has an unstoppable imagination. We are any given superhero at a moment's notice and have to be ready to save the world, or fight a fire or whatever. He keeps us hopping!
As for Steve and myself, life just keeps coming at us. Keeping up around here, for me, has become a job unto itself, but I keep trying. I am slowly trying to get some remodeling done in our wonderful old farm house. That's long and slow and the budget leaves something to be desired:?) We added some new fruit trees this year and are getting a little more adventurous with chickens. I am hoping this little place will be beautifully productive next year.
Steve's music is enjoying some success with cd sales doing alright and tv networks, such as Mtv, VH1 and lifetime liscensing their songs for use on network shows. His band is Harry Bailey's Transport and you can find them through your search engine if you type it in. (Please do) They are slated to play at South by Southwest music festival in Austin TX, March of next year.
I'd love to hear from you and know what you are up to as well. My my space is poormomma, if you'd rather reach me that way.
All the best!
