Krista's Story
Life
Hi, everyone! After high school, I attended Grand Rapids Baptist College (now Cornerstone University) but never finished my degree. In 1995, I married my husband, Jake. He served in the Army for 4 years and we spent a year of that time in Baumholder, Germany. It was a great experience. We got to do some traveling to Paris and Italy. Something I never would have done had it not been for the Army. Jake also served two tours in Bosnia so we spent quite a bit of time apart those first few years of marriage. ought our first house and settled in Hastings. In September 2000, we finally became parents to a son, Zachary, followed in February 2003 by our daughter, Chloe.
In 2004, I started my own photography business, A Picture's Worth, where I focus on documentary style wedding photography. I love it. Not something I planned to do with my life, but I've always loved photography and God opened the right doors for me to get started. I feel really blessed to be doing something that I love so much!
